Detailed Itinerary
Day-1 Madurai Railway Station (HOTEL CHECK INN TIME 13:00)
Arrival Madurai Railway station, here our driver will pick up and transfer to hotel, check inn and rest, after that visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Alagar Koil etc, Rest of day free at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-2 Madurai – Rameshwaram (172km, 04hrs drive)
After breakfast get drive to Rameshwaram, check inn and rest in hotel, after that visit Rameshwaram Temple, Dhanushkodi Temple and Beach, Agnitheertham, The Five Faced Hanuman Temple etc, Rest of day free at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-3 Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (309km, 06hrs drive)
After breakfast get drive to Kanyakumari, check inn and rest in hotel, after that visit Kanyakumari Beach, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thanumalayan Temple, Thiruvalluvar Statue etc, Rest of day free at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-4 Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (90km, 03hrs drive)- Kovalam (25km, 45Minute drive)
After breakfast get drive to Trivandrum and visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple etc, after that get drive to Kovalam, check inn and rest in hotel, after that visit Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach etc, Rest of day free at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-5 Kovalam – Alleppey (159km, 5hrs drive)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey. Reach Alleppey houseboat and check inn and rest, Alleppey backwaters. Take a cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the boat. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages. Overnight stay in Houseboat. Mandatory information about Houseboat: The Houseboat will have bath attached Air conditioned rooms. A/C Timing in Houseboat, Deluxe Houseboat – Ac will work from 09PM to 05AM at Bed room area. The service will start at 13 Noon with lunch. Tea with snacks will be served in the evening. The boat will halt at 5.30 pm for night stay and night dinner will be provided in the boat. Next day morning after breakfast at 8 am, check out till 09:00a.m. The room is best for two people. However. Small child can be adjusted in the available bed.
Day-6 Alleppey – Cochin (55km, 2hrs drive)
After breakfast get drive to cochin, Reach Cochin and visit Chinese Fishing Nets- introduced by the court of Kublai Khan can be seen in Fort Cochin. Fort Cochin Beach, Dutch Palace-built by the Portuguese in 1557 and subsequently renovated by the Dutch after 1663. The murals are perhaps the best in India. Jewish Synagogue - built in 1568 and the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth are at Mattancherry. St. Francis Church - built in 1510 and the oldest European church in India, Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day-7 Alleppey – Guruvayur (92km, 3hrs drive) – Cochin Railway station Drop
After breakfast get drive to Guruvayur, Reach here and visit Punnathurkotta Elephant Palace, Mammiyoor Shiva Temple, Guruvayur Temple, Parthasarthy Temple, Statues of Maraprabhu and Guruyaur Kesavan etc, later drop to Cochin Railway station and services ends.
